Eric and Emily
Pastor Eric and Miss Emily have been serving in ministry for over 30 years. Their experience includes, children’s ministry, youth ministry, youth and children’s camps, VBS, neighborhood outreaches as well as Senior Pastor. They believe God has given them the ability to be a resource to serve children as well as their parents. This in turn helps enable those around them to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Eric is a native of Anderson SC where he attended a Pentecostal Holiness church and preached his first sermon at the age of 15. He attended Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs GA where he earned a BS in Christian Ministries.
In addition to ministering to children on Sunday mornings he is also a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. He has been a part of the USCDKA (A Christian Martial Arts Association) for about 16 years. He has had the privileged of guiding students through the ranks to Black Belt and even leading many in the sinner’s prayer.
Miss Emily is a native of Richmond VA and a PK. She and Eric met at Emmanuel where she earned an AA and then finished her education at Lee University where she earned a BME in Music. She has since earned a Master’s in Education Administration from Regent University. She has been teaching elementary music for over 25 years.
Eric and Emily have two wonderful children Isabel (attending Liberty University) and Isaac (attending Woodbridge High School). Isabel is pursuing a degree in song-writing and has an incredible gift for singing. Isaac is true to his name in that he makes others laugh when they are with him. He is an avid gamer and loves playing baseball. The entire family are Black Belts in Taekwondo.
